SOP Intelligence · Manuals to SOP

Turn one task in a manufacturer's manual into a cited SOP.

The maintenance team uploads a manual and chooses a task. Averyniq drafts the procedure from the pages that cover it, cites each step to its page, and refuses to supply any value the manual does not state.

Example: Harlow Precision Components (fictional) · HX-200 hydraulic press · replace the hydraulic filter

Simulation. Scripted example on fictional data. No file is uploaded, no model is called, and nothing here is a real customer, procedure or result.

Hydraulic filter replacement

  1. Stop the press and isolate the power supply.
  2. Release the stored pressure using the relief valve.
  3. Place a drip tray under the filter housing.
  4. Unscrew the filter housing and remove the element.
  5. Fit a new element of the specified part number.
  6. Refit the housing and tighten firmly by hand.
  7. Restore power, run the press and check for leaks.

Warning: hydraulic fluid under pressure can cause serious injury. Do not open the circuit until the pressure is released.

How it is governed

  • Every step cites the page it came from, so a reviewer can check the source.
  • A value the manual does not state is marked missing; it is never supplied from elsewhere.
  • A document revision that does not cover the machine is flagged, not ignored.

What this is for

A manufacturer's manual becomes a short, checkable procedure for one task, with the gaps in plain view.

What this page does not do

  • This page does not read a real manual.
  • A web search result is never treated as the manufacturer's instruction.
  • No torque, interval or limit is ever invented.
